Invitation

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is my great pleasure to invite you to participate in the second annual meeting of COST Action TD1208 “Electrical Discharges with liquids for Future Application”. The purpose of the COST Action TD1208 annual meetings is to bring together researchers of different fields, in order to establish an open forum for presentation and discussion of the latest advances in the field of electrical discharges with liquids. Please note that the meeting is open to non-members of the COST Action.
The meeting will take place at the School of Industrial Engineering of Barcelona (ETSEIB), part of the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC), from the 23rd to the 26th February 2015. Accommodation for all attendants has been pre-reserved in the Arenas Atiram Hotel, which is at walking distance from the University.
The conference will include sessions for the different Working Groups of the Action, related with discharges in liquid phase, Gas discharges interaction with liquids, Basic processes and numeric modeling, Applications in water treatment, Biomedical applications, Applications in nanoscience and surface treatment and Applications in organic chemistry.
The 2nd Annual meeting of COST Action TD1208 will be held in the wonderful city of Barcelona. The city enjoys a prime location, bathed by the Mediterranean Sea and very well connected with the rest of Europe. Its geographic situation and the open character of its inhabitants are the reasons of its vast cultural wealth. It has a valuable architectural and monumental heritage, the most splendid exponents of which are its Gothic and modernist buildings. The city offers its visitors endless opportunities to explore and enjoy.

We are looking forward to welcoming you in Barcelona!
