Crossed Electro Molecular Beams Ion Apparatus - CEMBIA

 Electron induced reactions play important role in many media and enviroments:

-dielectric discharges

-plasma

-atmophere

-interstellar chemistry

-radiation chamistry

In our laboratory we study the electron induced ionisation reactions :

Electron impact ionisation:
e + AB --> AB+ + 2e
e + AB --> A+ + B + 2e

Dissociative electron attachment to the molecule:
e + AB <--> AB*- --> A- + B

Using the crossed electron/molecule beams technique we measure:

- the cross sections of the reaction

- the appearance energies of the ions

- the mass spectra of the molecules

- gas temperature dependences of the reactions
