Ion Mobility Spectrometry-ortogonal accelaration time of flight spectrometry (IMS-oaTOF)

IMS-oaTOF system is focused to study:

  • formation of the ions in the atmospheric pressure discharges
  • the mobilities of the ions in different drift gases
  • trace gas detection

A schematic view of the tandem IMS-oaTOF apparatus is shown in the Figure.

The IMS-oaTOF system consists of home made IMS spectrometer, differentially pumped vacuum system and is equipped with home made linear ortogonal acceleration time of flight spectrometer.
